The cooked English breakfast featured delicious bacon. The attention to detail in the tree planting and courtyard added a lovely element to the stay.
The room decor, while fresh, could benefit from additional personal touches.

Comfortable Twin Room with modern decor and a fantastic shower made for a pleasant stay. This hotel is a well-suited match for an overnight stop in Bishop Auckland and good value for the cost. The friendly staff were very accommodating, even when I arrived late. Make sure to check the room location to avoid noise from the kitchen extractor fan outside your window.

Had an awesome time with friends! Enjoyed the beer garden and checked out Adventure Valley. The clean, spacious room was perfect for our group. The restaurant was a highlight, with fantastic meals and friendly staff. Great location for exploring, and the free children’s play area is a nice touch for families.
The main road noise was a bit persistent at night, which could be bothersome for light sleepers, but it did quiet down eventually. We were told about future soundproofing improvements, so that’s a plus.

I stayed here recently and loved the vibrant pub atmosphere and the comfortable rooms that felt like a cozy retreat after a day of exploring nearby sites like Kynren, just over 2 km away, and the beautiful Broom Mill Farm, only about 4 km away, perfect for weekend strolls. the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

The king room was newly refurbished and thoughtfully maintained, creating a beautiful and comfortable setting during the stay. The friendly staff greatly contributed to the overall experience, with particular appreciation for their local knowledge and welcoming attitudes. the absence of coat hooks and limited workspace made the stay less convenient. inconsistent water temperature in the shower was frustrating, detracting from the otherwise pleasant experience.

I enjoyed my stay in a King Room at Park Head. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. My breakfast featured a delightful variety, and the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout. The room was spacious with a nice decor, though it faced the main road, leading to persistent noise at night. Ideally, better soundproofing would help future stays. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, but the lack of refillable toiletries and limited sitting comfort for longer periods were downsides.
